This landing gear step is made from solid 6061-T6 aluminum. It has a non-slip, traction enhancing surface machined into both sides of the step. The step is a reversible design so that it works on both sides of the plane. Heavy weight oil tanned leather is used to protect the finish on the landing gear.



Warning:
Inspect landing gear prior to use. Remove any oil, lubricants, fuel residue, or moisture. If the leather grip pad on the gear step exhibits any damage, wear or oil contamination. The step should be immediately removed from service and the leather grip pad replaced.
