Stop persistent pre-flight fuel drips and simplify your sump sampling with the SAF-AIR CAV-170 Push-Type Fuel Drain Valve. Trusted by aircraft owners, mechanics, and fleet operators worldwide, SAF-AIR valves deliver leak-free reliability and smooth push-to-sample action for legacy and modern general aviation aircraft. Why Choose the CAV-170?Drip-Free Seal Technology: Features an O-ring placed directly on the stem that seats against a flat body surface. This design eliminates recessed areas where grit and sediment gather, preventing the root cause of chronic fuel valve drips. Quick, Effortless Sampling: Simply push upward with standard pin-type fuel samplers or drain cups to draw your pre-flight fuel sample. Spring-loaded stem returns to a tight seal immediately upon release. Fully Rebuildable Design: Designed for long-term serviceability. When maintenance is required, simply replace the standard fuel-resistant Viton O-ring rather than buying an entirely new valve body. FAA-PMA Approved: Manufactured in the USA to close tolerances under strict FAA-PMA oversight for reliable airworthiness.
