This finely crafted aluminum adapter plate allows owners to install Whelen’s PAR46 LED as a replacement for the Grimes 64 lamp housings. This adapter is compatible with either retract or non-retract fixtures. When installed the adapter plus light weigh 2 ounces less than the original bulb complete. Owners can now operate their landing lights full time, without the concern of having a voltage drop off from their generator/alternator. This adapter plate can be used on a variety of vintage aircrafts such as the Cessna 190/195, C-310, Twin Beech, Stinson Reliant/V77, DC-3/C-46, B-17, B-25.
The adapter works with the Whelen PAR46 LED’s G3 Series 01-0790906-00.
